Orient Electric Woodwind 52" Underlight Ceiling Fan, 5 Wooden Blades, Reversible Motor, Glass Shade — Metallic Bronze

What is the Orient Woodwind? A 52-inch decorative ceiling fan with five wooden blades, a rust-free metallic bronze body and an integrated glass-shade underlight. A reversible motor allows year-round use across a 1300mm sweep at 80W.

How is it controlled? Fan speed is set using your wall regulator and on-off switch. The pull chain operates the lamp only. No remote control is included with this model.

Are bulbs included? No. The light housing ships without bulbs. Check the holder type before ordering so you have the correct fitting ready at installation.

What does the underlight do? A glass shade housed beneath the motor provides ambient lighting on its own pull chain. It's diffused rather than task lighting — enough to light a room without a separate fixture, which matters in rooms with only one ceiling point.

How are the blades finished? Five wooden blades with a different wood finish on each side, so the fan offers two distinct looks depending on how it's fitted. Wide blade tips carry air further across the sweep.

Why does the motor reverse? Anti-clockwise pushes air down for cooling in summer. Clockwise pulls air upward and recirculates warmer ceiling-level air — practical in air-conditioned rooms where movement is wanted without a direct draught.

Will the body corrode? The housing is aluminium with a metallic bronze paint finish chosen to resist rust — relevant in humid coastal areas of the UAE, where painted steel fittings corrode over time.

What size room does it suit? The 1300mm sweep suits medium to large rooms — living areas, bedrooms and dining spaces. It's a decorative fan first, pairing well with traditional and transitional interiors.

Who is this for? Living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas where a fan should look like part of the décor. Best for buyers who want the wooden-blade look with built-in lighting and don't need remote control.
