HP DeskJet 2320 All-in-One Printer (7WN42B) — Print, Scan & Copy, USB, White

What is the HP DeskJet 2320? A compact three-in-one inkjet printer that prints, scans, and copies — built for home users, students, and small offices handling everyday documents rather than high-volume printing. It's a deliberately simple, affordable machine that does the essentials well.

Does it have Wi-Fi? No. The DeskJet 2320 connects via Hi-Speed USB 2.0 only. It does not support wireless printing, mobile printing, or AirPrint — you'll need to connect it directly to a computer. If you need wireless printing, this isn't the right model, and we're happy to recommend an alternative.

Is the USB cable included? No — the USB cable is sold separately. Worth adding one to your order if you don't already have a spare USB Type-B printer cable.

How fast does it print? Up to 7.5 pages per minute in black and 5.5 ppm in colour (ISO), with the first page out in around 15 seconds for black and 18 seconds for colour. That's appropriate for assignments, forms, and everyday documents rather than long print runs.

What's the print quality like? Up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for black text and up to 4800 x 1200 optimised dpi for colour — sharp enough for clean text documents and decent everyday colour output.

How much paper does it hold? A 60-sheet input tray and a 25-sheet output bin. It handles A4, B5, A6, and DL envelopes, plus custom sizes from 89 x 127mm up to 215 x 279mm.

What about scanning and copying? A flatbed scanner at up to 1200 dpi optical resolution, scanning up to A4 size, with output to JPEG, TIFF, PDF, BMP, and PNG. Copying runs at up to 6 copies per minute in black, 3 in colour, with up to 9 copies per job.

Does it print double-sided automatically? No — duplex printing is manual only (you flip the page yourself, guided by the driver).

How much printing is it designed for? Monthly duty cycle up to 1,000 pages, with a recommended volume of 50–100 pages per month. It's built for light, regular use — if you're printing several hundred pages monthly, a higher-duty model would serve you better.

Which ink cartridges does it use? The HP 305 series:

• HP 305 Black (3YM61AE) — approx. 120 pages
• HP 305 Tri-colour (3YM60AE) — approx. 100 pages
• HP 305XL Black (3YM62AE) — approx. 240 pages
• HP 305XL Tri-colour (3YM63AE) — approx. 200 pages

The XL cartridges cost more upfront but deliver roughly double the pages, so they're better value if you print regularly.

Important — cartridge compatibility: This is a Dynamic Security enabled printer. It's designed to work only with cartridges using new or reused HP electronic circuitry. Cartridges with modified or non-HP chips may not work, and firmware updates may block cartridges that previously worked. If you were planning to use third-party compatible cartridges, please be aware of this before purchasing.
