Where it works best

Air coolers use evaporation, so they perform best in ventilated and semi-open spaces. In the UAE that means balconies and shaded terraces, majlis and tents, garages and workshops, site offices and staff accommodation, kitchens and utility rooms, and any area where running an air conditioner isn't practical. In a sealed, fully air-conditioned room, an air cooler will move air but won't replace the AC — different tools for different jobs.

Practical notes
